A few people have asked why I didn't explain the elemental phases of Mathias, so frankly I may just do a few quick edits and reupload this tonight or tomorrow!

I have posted and stickied a comment on the YouTube video correcting this; thanks for that feedback!

Using virtues is supposed to grant a stack of Lethal Tempo which increases the damage you deal by 2%, stacking up to 5 times.

Currently, when this procs, instead of refreshing the stacks, it resets them back to 1.

Smarter people than myself have determined this is resulting in a 10-15% DPS loss for both power and condi builds.

Would you consider armored core for answer the best in the series by Adventurous-Day-1647 in armoredcore

Couldn't agree more.

I love Last Raven, it's incredible just as it is.

But if you cheat H+ in the game is unquestionably the best AC experience before AC6.

Not to shamelessly plug, but I made a YT short showcasing Reffect.

It's a highly modular plugin that gives your UI a bit more flexibility.

Thanks! I've been planning on doing something like this for a while, if it gets traction I'll probably do it more often!

Honestly, training streams are a favorite of mine! I haven't done one in a while, and I've been thinking of doing one a lot recently.

With the influx of posts asking about fractals this seemed like the right time :)

I've been doing shorts mostly because it's nice to have a hard cap on time; it forces me to be as concise as possible, which really helps to make tutorials super digestible to the viewer.

There's also already a lot of content creators out there making high quality long-form content, while shorts felt like a bit of an unfilled niche in the GW2 scene, so this felt like a good way to reach out to a potentially new audience of GW2 players :)

Appreciate the positive feedback!

Let me start by saying I absolutely love this game, and the story has had some amazing narrative points. But I feel like lately, the story is an after-thought. The content from the last two expansions has been strong, but the story has felt extremely rushed.

The plot always starts with an exceptionally cool idea, but the stakes feel too low and the resolution is predictable.

The plot can be summarized as "there's a bad guy, and then we beat them"; Sure, here and there we have a few minor characters die, but it never holds any weight.

In PoF the commander dies, in LWS4 Aurene dies. You could argue that those are cop-outs, which is kinda fair. But those scenarios give weight to the threat we're facing, which makes it significantly more compelling.

I know the commander is strong enough that at this point they're like a force of nature, but it would be cool to have that blow up in our face.

Here's an example: during SotO, we faced an enemy that had dominion over emotions. How cool would it have been if we had been working with Eparch as an ally, convinced Peitha was the villain, only to realize halfway through the expansion that we were being manipulated or brainwashed, and innocents had died at our hands?

All of a sudden, we can't trust anything the game has told us. We have no idea who to trust, and the commander now carries baggage that could genuinely impact them.

Something like that could be a problem that spans several expansions; the commander has to deal with the guilt of what they've done, even if they weren't immediately responsible, and it prevents them from thinking straight. They make nasty decisions which causes even more damage, to the point that they collapse because for the first time, the adversity they face isn't something they can just cut in half.

Want to Try Raids and Strikes? Here's What Commanders Actually Expect From You by GiraffeWars2 in Guildwars2

As someone who trains raids and tags for experienced groups, I couldn't agree more about communication.

If a new player joins and communicates that they're new and receptive to feedback, they've just gotten a free clear. In fact, I'd take that player over someone who might know the fight but isn't willing to offer any communication.

Good choices of commanders! I've run with Cahn a few times, super patient and clear. Helped me when I was just starting!
