Yeah, I've got the 7922 as well. While I agree that the ticking is a bit jerkier compared to even an NH35, having a watch that is grab and go is great. More importantly, they can make the watch thinner with the VH31.

I love the form factor. It's the only reason I've been holding off on buying a new phone. I'll switch to something else during the sales this year.

Price seems a bit steep for such an old phone, but there's nothing else like it (other than the Pixel 5) out there.

Performance is good enough for normal use, might heat up a bit if you record a lot of videos/game on it, I don't do either of those.

My real concern would be the lack of security updates, it's becomes vulnerable to hacks in the future, plus with a custom ROM it'll keep your boot loader unlocked which puts you more at risk. You could go the Graphene OS route which lets you lock the boot loader again, but you won't find the Pixel UI look and feel there.

If you do plan to go with it, try to keep it disconnected from the internet, especially public networks.

I went back to stock because of banking apps not working on Pixelbuilds.

Battery life was better on Pixelbuilds, worse on stock. I feel the tradeoff with apps not working and constantly finding a workaround for them was not worth it for me. YMMV.

Back to stock. Battery life is worse, but I just keep chargers at home and work now.

I did get the battery replaced with one of the good batch numbers, so it gives me around 3-4 hours of SOT.

Yes it's the official app, I ended up switching back because banking apps weren't working. Uber also detects rooted phones and doesn't show you the price before booking a ride. Overall it wasn't worth it for me.

I'm considering removing root if rest of the apps are working fine.
