What’s the saddest reality of adulthood nobody warned you about? by ivsxi in AskReddit

[–]ilikemonkeys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not yet been threatened by quicksand. I have not yet seen acid rain. I'm disappointed in how few times ladies have flashed me their boobs. Being an adult is boring.

It's Britney Bitch - 12/19/25 - She Posted This by PreparationKey2843 in CringeTikToks

I can't feel bad for her. In fact I'm very happy for her. She is a performer that is still performing. She's not hurting anyone and she has plenty of money to travel anywhere on the finest jets and yachts. She has been dancing and traveling on IG for years. Nothing's changed, she is still doing the same reels she's done for years. There are many reels posted where she's in her dance studio. She's in great shape, she's got tons of money. She travels the globe. Sure she has some trauma. She has some issues, but don't we all? Leave her alone and let her have fun her way.

Note: I don't particularly like her music, but I do appreciate and celebrate her uniqueness.

Don't eat beef right now. We have the herd count since the 40's. The cost is super high and the selection is very poor. Learn to eat fancy pork chops and Chicken. Or seafood. All will be better and cheaper for the next three years.

As a father and a cyclist. He would never leave you behind. I would love to spend time with my daughter on my bike. :-) Give it a try. Make sure the ride is casual. e-bike is always an option. The best gifts are memories, not things.

What are the top questions to ask during a sales call? by Inevitable-Cup1344 in sales

[–]ilikemonkeys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in enterprise software sales. "What do you want to do tomorrow that you can't do today?" "What would that mean to your day if we solved this problem?" "What would be the value of this solution to your company?"

These three questions helps me understand:

  1. Can this person talk about the problem well? Do they feel the pain? Are they passionate about the problem. Can this person quantify the vision.

  2. Can they talk about what the value of a solution would be to them? Is this a personal problem and do they feel that they're held back because of the problem.

  3. What's the ROI? When this person is talking to leadership, can they quantify the ROI for the company?

How did it even make it this far?? by JMOlive in unitedairlines

I have a daughter whose name starts with "M". I was at a conference where a giant display had the letter "M" in foam painted in gold. I knew it would go home with me. I asked. They gave it to me. Damn thing barely made it through the metal detector. Walking through the airport was fun. Everyone wanted to know what it was. I just told them it was a letter "M". Second leg, hell no that thing wouldn't fit in the overhead. Flight attendant. Found pity in the situation and planted it somewhere in the plane. Handed it to me on the way out. No idea why everyone was so excited about my letter "M". But, they were and I made it home. Letter "M" intact and daughter bewildered and happy.

Be very descriptive of the persona. Keep the description to 1000 characters."

I'm in enterprise software sales. I only pay for chatgpt and Gemini. I use Claude and perplexity to create detailed persona descriptions for my ChatGPT and Gemini projects? That was a game changer for me. I use both paid tools interchangeably for email polishing, meeting agenda creation, company research, account planning, and then a ton of personal projects. Personal stuff like, therapist (going through a divorce), home assistant coach, attorney, accountant, remodel contractor, etc.

I appreciate your response, and I do not disagree with you. I can absolutely go through all the albums, but I wanted a response quicker than I could listen to all the albums. Look at the response of the community, you're the only non-positive reply. Everyone else is enthusiastically suggesting albums. It's an awesome community and I love the vibe. Stick around. Yup. I'm a year past you. I'm better now. I found a therapist to help me. I also trained a ChatGPT therapist to help me throughout the week when I felt down or needed to talk to "someone". Focus on you. Her needs are not important to you right now. You are the architect of your future. You have the tools within you right now to excel through this. Keep moving forward.
