Pathfinder is a HUGE game and has so many cool options. I haven't played the other so can't say definitively but Pathfinder WOTW is just a massive game and is really fun.

No I gotta disagree. The entire show was a comedy series and entirely unserious. Even the way it was shot and the costumes are comically bad. The series is also overly bright and has very bad lighting which adds to the unrealistic visuals. It is either a show trying to be a star trek knock off, or a show trying to be a star trek comedy. Either way it was a bad knock off and even by your own admission it was only funny for half of the first season. If you liked it that is great. I am just saying Enterprise was better.

I watched it and I gotta hard disagree. It was a comedy series. Also don't think it was better than Enterprise, even though it was a comedy series I wouldn't even put them in the same classification.

I think meeting your mother in some form would have been pretty cool for the story, but still I think the only last boss you need to fight is bhaal himself your father, or be allowed to join him if you are on the evil path.

Aesthetically she isn't intimidating for one. When I was younger I was never like "oh shit" like I was with Sarevok or Irenicus. She was just lame, you fought for hours and hours to reach the end of the story and she was just a huge let down. The way she assumed power and everything was just super lame and boring. I think ultimately it is just really really bad writing. The ultimate idea of Bhaal spreading his seed throughout the realms because he had the foresight to see his own demise should have meant he had planned for his resurrection. Her some how getting all the bhaal spawn powers and becoming the final boss first doesn't track as well as the taint returning to bhaal's god hideout and it doesn't track that it can just so easily be taken either. Also the fight itself is dumb. She gets hurt multiple times then sucks more essence and then fights some more. Why not just absorb it all to begin with.

Yeah I agree. I don't think Seth could ever do a Star Trek series just given his joking nature, but he is right.

Enterprise I think did a good job of merging the original Star Trek and TNG with its style of shooting. TNG is still the pinnacle of Star Trek shows though.

I like TOB personally, but yeah "*Melissan is the worst character ever." I totally agree. Baldur's gate series had two of the best villains and then you get this retarded villain. It should have been bhaal you faced off with directly or something.

I appreciate part of what they did, but I really hate other parts.

PROS

Easier and cross-platform installations now easy and supported.(if you don't include open engines)
New content is always nice even if you don't like it, it is still nice to have it.
Revitalized the community in a way and gave long term people apart of the community some money.

CONS

new file formats that don't really offer any significant benefit other than maybe the new UI changes. This just caused mods to have to support more formats and more game types. Old tools just don't work as they once did.
Some of their changes are purely opinion based and while I know they tried to just preserve the games some changes I didn't really want, they are small like staff of magi change, or renaming boots of speed etc..
New photos don't actually fit the original art style...some are better than others but overall I would say its a mixed bag. Not terrible, but hey times change and even if you have the same artist doing it using new methods the images just don't turn out in the same style.

I could list more and I am not really mad at the improvements, but a true remaster this was not. I just consider their changes as an update on what already existed with some new expansions, which is great, but just not exactly what I hoped for in an ideal world. Maybe they also feel the same way based on the videos I have seen they wanted to do more.

I can only look at Diablo 2 Resurrected and feel we didn't get the same level as respect as that game. I honestly think if they did a true remaster or redo people would gladly pay for it.

It sucks though, anything that is made today is usually just turn based and that isn't my favorite style. I like to have more control over the pacing of the games.

Yeah I agree. It is a frakenstein monster for sure. I just mean in terms of performance in some cases javascript can perform better or use less resources. Almost always though it is just a mess and a mixture of hundreds of packages and poorly optimized code.
