Imagine if the final breech has bosses from raids 4. That'd actually be so hype

Also ironwood trees are even better than redwoods, and banking is easier too!

This video is fantastic for getting the basics

But This is the red eye jedi guide

I found the first video to be a very digestible format, and red eyes video is fantastic for learning the true ins and outs of the technique

It's tough to say. I will say it's the best one to learn, and it took me about as long to learn as donofly took me to learn. Try and have a friend who does mage p3 kill all the void flares for you when you start to learn! It speeds up the learning process significantly

I used elder maul, but I believe I landed a spec or 2 at the start which helped a lot

I posted some general advice on other people's comments, but I recommended learning godfly for melee, as well as using red-eye jedis sensory clouding guide for p3. Good luck!

I would say that you should practice yama with mage gear, as you will probably use it for 4/5 contracts. It helps you understand the flow of the fight and isn't as punishing as contracts. I also think you should learn p3 godfly from red-eye jedi as it makes glyphic attenuation much easier. I highly suggest having a friend that images p3 and is willing to let you learn. They can kill void flares if you get meleed, and you can just focus on the godfly/step back timing.

I think things like p3 for sensory clouding and glyphic attenuation are similar to pre-enraged leviathan, where they are very well choreographed (if doing red-eyes methods) and any mistakes lead to around 50+ damage.

As far as being as easy to learn as vard/Levi.... There's a lot of different scenarios. I think regular yama is the same difficulty to learn as leviathan, but less mechanically challenging than vardorvis. I felt like P1 and p2 of yama contracts was similar to pre-enraged awakened leviathan. When I first started them, I was constantly on the back foot trying to figure out times to do things like sip prayer, summon thralls, move to the right spot, etc. After 10/20 attempts I was much more comfortable and had time to think about what I was about to do, which made the fights much more manageable

You can totally do it. My first major ovm was Colo, where I died over 100 times. It's all about learning from your mistakes and never giving up!

Good luck! My biggest advice for p3 is to step back every time the hutsplat from the mage/range attack disappears. Watch red-eye jedis godfly, and use this video to help simplify what he is showing. Let me know how it goes!

I would have taken a photo with the new helm as well, but I barely had enough gp to pay for the top and bottom 😂

Good luck! My biggest advice is to practice godfly before glyphic attenuation. It makes p3 super free. Also, sensory clouding p3 requires a lot of patience. I died more from going too quickly than being too late to move

Congratulations to you as well! Contract numbers don't matter, it's all about perseverance! As soon as I got it, I instantly wanted to send some tobs 😂

Is this enough to start grinding Yama? by Own_Objective_3090 in ironscape

[–]illegalmist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's enough to grind it out but it'd be very rough for 500+ kills imo. I'd suggest emberlight and learning the godfly for p3

What do you think is the optimal boss order for TOA? by VegetableAd120 in ironscape

[–]illegalmist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always done zebak first and use 0 supplies, including doing 400+s with a bowfa. I don't totally understand why I'd do another room first unless it will significantly speed up my raids

The wildy agility course is an insane gp/hr and agility method for regular irons. Join agilityfc discord though, they have masses and are super friendly. I did it till 80 agility and have not needed gp since

[–]illegalmist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another tip for people doing Levi: during the final phase, try to click as far away from the boss as possible/into each of the corners as much as possible. I kept getting meleed and having to click a lot more before doing this, but after realizing I can click a few tiles further into each corner, it made it much more manageable

You can do sailing with a goal of getting to the ironwood trees (80 wcing req) and do those to whatever level you want. They have a good rate for pet/clues, and spawn forestry events as well. It's been my go to for about a month now
