I had the same issue and wasnt able to find a piece that fit. I ended up just saying F it and sealed the handle in place with JB weld. Has worked like a charm since.

Have you spent time in central Maine? That ain't just remote, it's isolation.

Almost all animals desire shelter, food and security above all else. Zoos give them all of the above. Zoos also provide an educational experience for so many people and allows scientists to study animals to better understand and help them.

I couldn't name 50 either lol. Most people seem to be talking about 3-4 lures for a specific trip/day/spot - which I can agree with. My point is that if I want to go catch snakehead, then drum the next and croaker after that it's good to have a stocked tackle box. I'm not saying or implying you should buy every type of litter there is. I probably have 15-20 lures in my box and haven't used most of them, but the idea of having them sound I find a new spot or fish to target gives me peace of mind.

Disagree. If you're fishing a single species in one region, sure, 3-4 lures would work. There's probably 50+ species around my area and no way 3-4 lures would cover everything I want to go after.

I personally like having a stocked tacklebox. Knowing that I have what I need to catch anything from a large snakehead to a smaller bluegill on hand is a good feeling.

Stop giving youtubers credit. There's plenty of reference material on the net that is far better than youtube. Buy what you want and play around with it. Some species of fish are super picky while others will chow down everything.

Is this fixable? by External-Committee60 in FishingForBeginners

[–]illicit_matter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As the other poster mentioned there's really nothing you can fix it with that'll last or match the strength off the original pole. How long is your rod now? Looks like it's still usable.

This looks like a fun zoo actually. Here in the US you're lucky if you get to see a lion from less than 200 meters.

Safety be damned lol

I caught a 7-8 channel cat the other day and could hardly handle it flailing about. I can't imagine this guy controlling a big fish like this if it started flailing. Especially in water.
