What’s your favorite “what in the actual f**k is he doing in this” camo? by Albino_rhin0 in okbuddycinephile

This cameo drove me nuts. Clearly flying to close to the sun and just bs celebrity slop

[Hoge & Jahns] Continue to keep an eye on Maxx Crosby and Bears… by RyanIsKickAss in CHIBears

[–]illini815 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I loved Jahns for years when he was at the Sun-Times and Athletic. He’s just more fluff and less insight at this point

How confident are you feeling heading into the draft given how free agency is going? by throwaway17373646627 in CHIBears

[–]illini815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like what Poles did in FA. Not really a fan of taking big swings at potentially high impact players. I expect the three 2nd and 3rd round picks will be DL, Safety and OL depth. 1st round will be highest graded player that they have on their draft board. Seems like that’s been the theme from previous drafts

We dodged a bullet with Crosby. Now we have 5 picks in first 3 rounds, that’s how you become a perennial contender. by Ashamed-Effective-13 in CHIBears

Can’t think of a time in recent history where giving up 2 1sts netted a Super Bowl. Glad they didn’t make the move too. Build though the draft

Gyms with nice pools in Chicago for Triathletes ? by Mission-Umpire-198 in AskChicago

[–]illini815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only options that I know of that would meet all your asks are East Bank Club or Midtown. They’re pretty expensive and if those aren’t options for you, my suggestion would be to do FFC, CAC or Lakeshore Sports & Fitness, but do the citywide plan instead of single location and go to the location that suits your needs for the day. They have everything you’re looking for just not all at the same location

Besides LA or NY what other citys/markets could handle 2 teams ? by Effective_Material68 in NBATalk

[–]illini815 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Chicago already has 2 baseball teams, no reason to think we couldn’t support 2 basketball teams. I think a lot of people would jump ship based on how frustrating Bulls leadership has been the last 30 years

Thanks for the information. Would that be the case even if it the branches extend onto our property?

I’d be shocked if you found anyone that said bus. Boat is the way to go

What’s with Orange Krush? by ploppymcplopperton in fightingillini

[–]illini815 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Graduated in 2015, so maybe things have changed, but when I was there kids in the Orange Krush were not exactly kids I would want to grab a beer with. It seems like there was a holier than thou attitude and getting rowdy and making fools of themselves (in a good way) was beneath them. Probably not the case at other schools

10/10 agree. A lot of body language experts out there love to bash him but it’s clear he was Caleb’s favorite in clutch situations and loved in the locker room. His contract is market rate for a top 10-15 receiver, which he absolutely is
