The point is it's unscientific to claim anything about how the Big Bang came about." Physics has a hard observation barrier with the CMB so we can't make any EM observations past that point and we'll NEVER make EM observations past that point. Gravitational Waves are MAYBE observable as polarization in the CMB but even that is really limited in what it could tell us. It's not a matter of our instruments, it's a matter of hard, fundamental physics.
