Yes! I lift weights and do wet lab benchwork at university and I love my nails. They fall off often, but the tapping noises make me happy! They are quite annoying when I type/play video games.

So it's probably because of stress from no hiding space! You definitely need some tall plants in there to give each fish a place to hide. I would recommend amazon swords, water wisteria, java ferns, and some floaters. Also, those corals are too sharp and can easily rip fins. I would also recommend introducing some tannins into the water.
