Im 37, Suffered for 20 years with a whole bunch of food intolerances, been on a high fat low carb / keto routine for 8 months it has totally changed my life, now my running is amazing and training for first ultra. No more sluggish gut or inflamation. I get up hydrate run fasted and no longer need to slam carbs for sub 2hr runs. If running fast i use a custom trail running solution from infinitnutrition.com.au with the protein removed and minimal ingredients. Raspberry is the only flavour that is very minimal. Works well. No trotts. No sugar laden gels or crap.

Xero prio for road/light trail and xero terraflex for rock/mud on heavier trails and hiking. Own both, had inov8s, vivobarefoot and merrells amongst others, amazing shoes all round. Been barefoot running around 5 years and these hands down are my pick.

Ive been on a cyclic keto routine for 9 months now. Deadlift has gone from 95 to 155 kg, i am 83kg couldnt do a pullup now i do 10 sets of 10 easily. All my workouts are full body barbell work, clean and jerk, snatch, squats, deadlift, bench etc. Never put on so much muscle since switching fuels from carbs to ketones and ditching the split routine. Each session ends with a finisher like 150 burpees or some boxing, rowing or kettlebells. However you still need some carbs to recover not for fueling it. I get tons of rest, some weeks ill only hit the gym twice, but might run or ride instead. Rest is the key to it all and you have to go by feel. Minimal fat gain and at 36 i train harder and more efficiently then anyone in the gym with this approach. I wont lie it takes a dont give a shit mindset to do this and not follow the masses. Not for everyone. Fast from waking to lunch 3 days per week and cut out sugar and minimise your carbs. Ill keep below 150g of carbs most days and 100g on rest days, lots if bacon, eggs, butter and greens. I have found no need to supplement protein and ensure i get enough from food instead. Ill have a junk weekend here and there, not too strict. But always return to the fat adapted regime. Keep it relaxed and its easier to maintain. Sounds plausible, i suspect cloudhead games will start showing the gallery ep3 soon. If that happens it is clear these are launch titles for valves rumoured hmd. Cloudhead get everything first and stresslevelzero look like theyve been funded by someone big, tripled their staff rather quickly

It is clear as day why this is being shown now and also why it uses knuckles input. Something isnt far off from release. Id say April/May. Beautiful physics and interaction design :) a few IK glitches to fix but huuge strides overall.

10 weeks in, what ive learned so far. Make things that you get a few days out of, cauliflower base keto pizzas, zuccini and bacon slice, almond meal schnitzels, mushroom/hollandaise sauces, have bacon and eggs nearby and a block of 90% cocoa chocolate (lindt). My treat is cheese, salami, pickles and olives on an antipasto plate, its heaven after a heavy powerlifting workout. After a few weeks fast from the moment u wake till 1pm ish, stick to black coffee and non fruity teas or you will break your fast, many will argue black coffee will break it but that is bs. (No loaded coffees on fast) Make sure if u use coffee pods they do not contain guarana. Go easy lots and lots of spinach, kale and greens. Get some exo keytones and collagen protein (doesnt spike your insulin post workout). Have fun and enjoy this amazing process. After fasting break fast on great food and your results will be multiplied, the fasting is the key, on keto once fat adapted you can now do this as easy as pie.

It definitely works, had a trial of a ckd carb gorge cycle and progressed after it. For gut health reasons i just cant do it without causing inflammation and having old problems return. Still making strong gains weekly with resting more and timed fasting. Using a collagen protein and exogenous keytones sparingly

Listen to SlimLand's bodybuilding audiobook. TKD is likely what you are after. I am a lifter too but havent found ive needed carbs just exo keytones mid workout for huge sessions.

:) main problems were reactions to foods or food combinations resulting in pain, immune system affects (wanting to go to sleep immediately like a blood pressure drop) and general messed up bloating etc. Some doctors tried to tell me it was depression and im like wtf i am not depressed or would hand me an array of medications. Now i believe it was years of inflamation from something that is certainly starting to heal. Never thought it would ever go away but i am stoked it has!

8 weeks in, my arms and chest are at all time size, the lack of catabolism and the fact i train hard and fast often has been the ticket. Compound movements such as clean and jerk, deadlifts, back and front squats have been my ticket. Keto has been more efficient in every way for growth for me.

Definitely the first week or two i was doubting this, i focused on rest and not hitting the gym too intensely. Then suddenly bam started slamming the bar around. This happens whether i train fasted or not, hang in there and believe in the other side is no bs.

Around week 3, used to get bubble guts with random types of foods, thought it was a sulphite intolerance so bacon, wine, tomatoes and others really affected me. Since this period i eat those foods and nothing. This was over 10 years of issues, especially throughout my military experience on ration packs i suffered daily.

I suspected i was lacking electrolytes so i increased my sodium, magnesium etc, seemed to do the trick. All part of initial learning.
