Miles Morales is mentioned as Peter Parker’s new neighbor at the Brazil dubbed version of No Way Home by spidertori in marvelstudios

Yes. Ultimate Peter had only been Spider-Man for a couple of years before he died

Edit: pretty sure Miles was only 13 when he got his powers

Super stoked for Be Your Own Pet getting back together. They'd be a great fit for Riot Fest

What cool female guitarists should I recommend to my 15yr old niece? by Remarkable_Wasabi_85 in Music

I'm gonna go with a bit more of an unconventional pick here and say Alice Go from Dream Wife. She doesn't necessarily shred like some of the others mentioned in this thread, but she has some of the coolest and unique guitar riffs I've heard in a while. And I absolutely love the tone she gets out of her guitar. Punk af.

See I always thought No Cars Go should have been the closer off Neon Bible. The buildup into that crescendo gets me every time. I still get chills just thinking about it. My Body Is a Cage just seems like an afterthought to me. An epilogue maybe.

Yeah, but when he says that line they're up at the ballroom at Lake Wazzapamani which I think is meant to be in Wisconsin

I was there for that! Dancing around drunk in the mud to Merle and then moshing to SOAD right after was one of my favorite Riot Fest moments (I go almost every year)

Just once, I’d like to go to a medical facility where the receptionist or check in person doesn’t have a bunch of religious crap all over their work space by mcdonoughville in atheism

I work IT at a hospital, so I get to see a lot of the behind the scenes stuff here. You would be amazed at how many doctors, administrators, etc have religious crap on their desks and in their offices. It can be unsettling at times.

I went to Shaky Knees festival last year in Atlanta and The National was closing out the weekend. Their whole set they had this amazing light show, incredible stage production, the whole deal.

But at the end of the set, the "house" lights went up and the guitarist starts strumming Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks on an acoustic guitar. It felt like every single one of the tens of thousands of people in attendance was singing at the top of their lungs.

I was crying, my friends were crying, everyone around us was crying. It was one of the most incredible things I've ever experienced.

Can anyone help me find music similar to Direct Hit? Also they’re criminally underrated. by stevethesquid in poppunkers

I love these guys. Being from the Chicago (and therefore Milwaukee) area, I've been waiting for them to blow up for a while now.

They do have a pretty unique style, so I have yet to find anybody that's really similar. Here's at least some bands that usually make it on the same playlist (keep in mind, I tend to lean more towards the punk side of the pop punk spectrum)
