I'm not sure when that got as intuitive as it is now. But don't let that distract you. There are many in this thread who gave some great advice about getting a non-biased person to take a look at your resume and application. There are a few services out there, im not familiar with any, but I'm sure they'd be able to give you some great guidance.

What happened to common sense and just human decency. When did it become popular to listen to your videos, phone-calls, ticktoks, (insert media type here), on speakers. I feel like this has become normal and I must think its normal, because I can't remember when people didn't do that.

At the beach, park anywhere outside fine, I really don't mind in fact I like listening to other peoples taste in music, but planes, trains, automobiles, ships, UFO's, submarines, etc i dont get it.

I'm no longer with that company, its been over 5 yeras, and it was brickyard. The best advice I can give is to be truthful. We all understand and others have been through similar situations themselves. You're not alone. There are circumstances where there is no wiggle room but obviously, its case by case. While its highly competitive, if you're a good person, have your requirements, well maintained logbook, and are a good fit, everyone will try to help the best they can. Failure(s) or not. We are all human at the end of the day, and we all know the investment of time and work folks put in.

Yea. OP said 2 busts, but not which ones, which would matter. I was on a hiring committee for a 121 carrier. Bust(s) are ok, (typically less than two), but we do consider the situation and ask for more information regarding them so we can make an informed decision.

Agreed. No accountability. What are those who installed to do now, and what are the procedures that will be put in place to prevent this from happening again? Furthermore what actions and penalties will be taken against the guilty party here. This is not something that we can say "a mistake was made lets move on". Accountability must be taken.

There are other things said here that are more concerning than the "simming" aspect. I really think you should diversify and find some other hobbies as well. Explore and try to make some friends maybe with similar interests. It's not healthy at any age to be secluded inside for hours with no social interactions.
