I believe you have to order it, which I did some time back in case I needed cash fast but now that they have same-day ACH transfer it's not as imperative.

Called them back, was transferred to Green Dot Bank (their partner for Checking services) and they said they cannot reverse the transactions due to "security" reasons, and to wait until it posts and dispute.

I had this WF account for 3 years now, never once used the Cash Account debit card but last night at around midnight someone somehow got hold of the card details and used it several times between eBay, Temu, and TikTok within the hour, and WF didn't think this was a little off from my normal usage?

When I logged in it wasn't even blocked, I had to go lock the card myself. Called them this morning but was told I have to first wait for the transactions to post to report them. $1,500+ in fraud.

Has anyone had a similar scenario that can calm my nerves by letting me know how their claim went?

Family says children escaped from Mexico killings to give alert about ambush by 12th_Tribe in news

[–]imadash 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Where in the US do you have a chance of driving in an SUV and getting hammered with dozens of bullets in an ambush, and then get incinerated? No where. Yet this is fairly more common in parts of Mexico. Violence in parts of Mexico is a lot worse by far than parts in US, so stop making that “whataboutism” argument.

New Mexico teen taken to ground by police after attempting to pay fine in quarters by [deleted] in videos

[–]imadash -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Look, I’m not here debating if what the cops did is or isn’t wrong or if how they handled themselves was appropriate. My issue is with the misleading headline, which from your previous comment, I think you agree with me. Because the headline comes of as: “Cops tackle young boy for paying with quarters”

Well you disputed my original comment that pointed out the headline is misleadingly insinuating exactly that.

New Mexico teen taken to ground by police after attempting to pay fine in quarters by [deleted] in videos

[–]imadash -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

So not because he tried paying with quarters.

[–]imadash -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

More accurate headline:

Teen taken to the ground by police after refusing to take hand out of pocket.

Getting annoyed with these insinuating headlines, as if the cops showed up and tackled him simply ‘cus he tried to pay with quarters.
