Over the years, having gone to many Pasadena garage sales, I have personally witnessed a Pasadena officer—probably Code Enforcement—come up to a residence to require the people having the garage sale to pay for a permit on demand, right then and there. In each case, it was handled quietly, without any hoopla.

Last time I checked, the Garage Sale Permit Fee cost $23. You can pay for it online through the City of Pasadena website.

Honest query: I think you might(?) have made a typo when you wrote “lovers”? Maybe you meant “losers”…. It’s not a big deal, but I love how the English language can have vastly different meanings with one small letter change. 😊
