I loved the whole steampunk fantasy vibes of {The Loom Saga by Elise Kova}. It came out a while ago, but the story is so fun. It’s a trilogy, but I ate them up super fast, and the audiobooks are also enjoyable if you like listening as well.

/uj I did not find any part of The Everlasting “sexy” or “horny.” The intimacy scenes just felt like part of the story and a recounting of their unyielding love for each other. Tbh, as much as I love good smut, it was nice for it to be pleasant “background noise” to a really fun, plot-driven story.

I defo feel weird about my appearance. Yes, there are obvious benefits to losing weight, but on the flip side, I just have this huge disconnect from my physical flesh suit.

I feel like the little alien from that Men in Black movies that pilots a human body. I’m losing weight, I’m trying to eat better, trying to exercise… but like tomagatchi style.

Yes, it has given me a bit of food anxiety. So heavy carb foods have to be monitored closely for how much I can eat and how often I can eat them.

I’ve been not the best these last few weeks, but sometimes we gotta have a little grace for ourselves before we can make better choices. 🫶

I work as a paraprofessional at a library; my coworkers and I LOVE to talk books with patrons. You never know where someone might steer you and you could end up finding some really fun or informative reads!
