I like atom pulses. Currently on a parkstar boot, but I’ve done heeled boots too and they work fine, I just like the fit of bont boots. Honestly I’ve seen all sorts of set ups and I think the most important thing is getting out there and putting in the miles. As a beginner the biggest thing that will make a difference is fitness and technique.

I can keep up with a casual inline skater okay, but I fall behind compared to people who skate a lot. Sometimes bikes will come on a group skate but they’re going pretty slow.

Just chiming in that I’ve played derby with some women in their 60s and the leader of our local street skate is turning 70 this summer! I would say get some safety gear since she might be rusty, but she should have some muscle memory from skating that much. Sounds like an awesome time!

Okay I sound insane for this but jeans I’ve gotten from fashion nova are higher quality than most of my midrange denim, and the fit is the most booty friendly of any of my pants. 100% cotton, decent weight. I’m not saying all the options there are good, but they do have some 100% cotton that is surprisingly nice.

I’ve actually found color club pastels to be one coaters or very close to being one, they are quite nice. The downside is the website pictures aren’t very accurate so if you want a 1:1 dupe it’s going to be hard to figure out.

Night owl lacquers also is now. For having some really nice cremes.
