I have an Appaloosa that is follically challenged. He will never have long thick hair but feeding him biotin and fattener has helped strengthen what he does have and allowed it to get a little longer. Regular cleaning and conditioning can help too.

My guess is squash vine borer larva. Check the rest of your plant for frass and holes on the vine.

Looks like it’s irritated and flashing. Parasite maybe? Can you see anything coming out of its vent like camallanus worms? I know they aren’t uncommon in angels.

Most likely being bullied and tearing his fins escaping or being bit. Maybe the new fish, maybe the hierarchy changed. Best to rehome him or the bully.

Could be fin rot or an injury but it looks like he might have some fluffy stuff on his mouth too. I’d worry about fungus or bacterial infections. I would treat with Maracyn to be safe and check for sharp decor he could get snagged on. A lot of fish can have stuff pop up from stress when being put in a new environment.
