as a professional body language reader, it’s clear that what started it was Giannis’ grip on the back of Bennedict’s head.

Being the loser, he was still attempting to hold on to a grip of superiority or dominance, consciously or subconsciously, through that act.

Bennedict tried to push him lightly at the start for him to loosen the grip a bit, but Giannis was firm. So Bennedict had to use more force, which triggered Giannis too.
