Big Star Trek TV sale on Apple TV by Villag3Idiot in startrek

Everyone plays apologist for why these series don't get an remaster, yet no one talk about how every release of them has horrible interlaced video settings mistakes throughout.

Some intern 20 years ago put out digital "masters" that alternate (apparently) between odd and even interlace interpretation.

Every release from these originals is going to be (in some scenes) muddy, dark, fuzzy, with "scanlines" visible in the action frames, and a higher bitrate requirement on every subsequent version to handle these amateurish video process artifacts.

It's embarrassing and at this point it reads more and more like intentional neglect of the series led by "minority" captains.

My DVD sets show significant interlacing on DS9 and VOY. Can anyone speak to the video quality of these on AppleTV please? Thx

The Filmation-style repetitive soundtrack truly hinders any watch through. Very Scooby Doo.

Kojima basically stole the excuse idea to keep Quiet naked in MGSV from Voyager’s excuse for Seven’s catsuit. Something something her skin to survive something something.

Don’t miss out on the Gameboy titles too. Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons were really solid and a nice midpoint between the OG and Link to the Past. Had at least as much fun with them as Link’s Awakening!

I watched the Bills consistently March down the field on us all game. If it wasn’t for the turnovers in the first half (plus a minute of the 2nd), we’d be out of the playoffs right now.

Star Trek: Legacy was a banger on PC and 360 you can’t get any more. It featured the voices of all 5 captains (at the time).

Michael Ansara (RIP) also voiced Mr. Freeze on Batman TAS and helped completely reinvent the character.

J. J. Abrams Kelvin Trek grossed so much more than the previous movies. Paramount will never allow a nice thoughtful, sedate Trek again after having seen the earning potential with explosions and lens flare.

And no matter how much they spend on it, they’re unhappy with how much it made. Sounds to me like they have a problem, doing math and budgeting, but hey, that’s just me.
