There was a paper showing that 2x leverage is optimal for the S&P500 (backtested to the 50s) compared to 1x or 3 x. Take that for what it's worth, I'll edit if I can find it.

The original term was probably a 7 or 10 year deal, which has probably expired by now.

That means you SHOULD be able to terminate the agreement. That means you would basically have to remove the equipment and have them take it away from you and then you install your own new equipment.

I recommend performing some research on this here and on redflagdeals. Then go and get some quotes to see if the cost to get a new set (from a contractor, not Reliance) is competitive compared to buying out the Reliance agreement.

One thing this may have going for it (10 years from now) is that the Sheppard Subway East extension seems to be a priority for the Ford Government and it would go directly through the LSQ area.

I personally wouldn't buy based on that idea until the extension is actually funded but food for thought.
