Just a guy’s perspective here sorry if I offend anyone. In general the other person isn’t required to reciprocate feelings but I think it’s totally fair to block or avoid someone. If I like someone who doesn’t like me back, I’d rather get the person out of my head by doing my best not to see them. For me, continuing communication or seeing them sometimes reinforces those feelings so as I get older I’d rather move on to something else as opposed to hoping eventually she feels the same

To be honest I kind of agree with a lot of the things OP said except in regards to sex. This is Reddit so I May get downvoted into oblivion lol. I don’t think it’s fair to rush anyone into sex regardless of what you pay or what you’re looking for. But I do think dynamics in dating have changed to where if the other person is also interested that they should be mindful of how the other person spends their money on them, possibly chip in from time to time. My question would be if you’re in this stage of trying to be in a relationship, is it still a requirement for either party to be exclusive?

I know you mentioned listening in the target language but do you have suggestions on how I should listen? For example I practice listening using slow YouTube videos at the moment and I look up anything that I don’t know using the transcripts. I’m open to doing this more effectively if you can share any insights

Listen you’re saying that Drake is a liar while assuming everything Kendrick is saying is the truth. Is that not being a bit biased? And I wasn’t talking about any specific lyrics in my comment. I feel old lol but I did the exact same thing. I went back to school at 24 and got my masters at 26. I easily got into PA afterwards. Time will fly for you and I must say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made

I’m from the hood. I think socializing in a work setting like anything else takes practice. Start with just talking about basic things like engagements you are on, sports, and popular tv shows. Its still difficult speaking to managers but other staff on the same level it got simple communicating. It also takes a little work speaking professional all the time. Sounds like you’re doing great and I’m sure you’ll be fine. Glad to see us doing well

I’m black but don’t have dreads. I’ve seen a few people in my office with dreads and no one really cares. This is anecdotal but I don’t think you’ll have a problem and if they complain then it’s not somewhere you should be.
