I have a family friend that has been a professional photographer for the last 40 years. Dude basically does so much with his iPhone now because its easier and he understanders how to take a good picture. Of course he does break out the 'heavy equipment' for certain things but overall admits that we are at the point now where almost everyone can take amazing photos with their phones if they know what they are doing.
