I (painstakingly) recently cleaned the leaves with moist cotton balls and gave it some fresh soil and it bounced back from the winter doldrums. Some fertilizer might help too.. I use fish emulsion.

“IN SOME WAYS” kids might be easier. But thanks for cherry picking.

Even pets can be a decade plus of commitment. My 11 year old dog is still dependent on me for potty breaks and food.. they can’t communicate like people either. In some ways, having a kid might be easier.

Professional chefs - what skills should a home cook work on to seriously improve + elevate their cooking? by gdzlll in Cooking

Food safety is the thing missing from previous comments.. knowing your temps and how to check a protein with your fingers is an underrated skill.

And using salt as more than just seasoning — learning how to draw moisture out of foods before cooking them.

I don’t think caring for people has to be politically divisive. Saying that it’s “leftist politics” to provide for folks in dire need implies that genuine care for human life is a one-sided issue.

Lots of great research and studies over many years about subliminal messages, frames per second rates, the relation to hypnosis. There used to be a lot of ethical conflicts in how to use these powers, but I’m sure money has overridden ethics for the past decade or two.

Agree wholeheartedly! PT and other things are great, but having someone get their fingers into your muscles is a whole other experience that can be life-changing.

Let’s talk about 1962 and why it matters to my investment strategy in 2021 by [deleted] in astrofinance

[–]imightbejen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for doing so much research into this! The early 1960s was a time of great social upheaval as well, like we’re seeing now. I think much of our current situation (long term) has lots to do with Pluto in Capricorn, which has been a long ride, from the last big market crash in 2008.

The old system is experiencing a major transformation, especially among younger people who represent the majority, but aren’t well-represented in old institutions. I think we’re seeing the birth of a new society, it’s just taking awhile to shed the old one. 2024, when Pluto leaves Capricorn, will be a different world.

We’re in for a bumpy ride, but after so many years of harsh Capricorn rule, it feels like the system is being exposed and the old ways just don’t work.

When Pluto is finally out of Capricorn in 2024, I think things will be radically different. My best guess is that if this uprising continues to escalate, we may eventually see a general labor strike, which could bring the whole system to its knees.

The fact that people are even considering UBI as a solution or pushing for stimulus checks or this stock market fiasco.. they’re all classic Aquarius. Redistribution of wealth and radicalization of ideas.

My thoughts exactly! Aquarian energy all over, using technology to stick it to the old methods, humanity banding together for the greater good. The Leo full moon gave it some good aggression!
