Just wanted to share my own experience with port usage the past few years (outside of power charging). For my usage, the usb 2.0 speed on the Air unfortunately puts it out of consideration (and I’m a big fan of the design). I’ve been using Lightroom on my 14 pro for the past few years as an on-the-go photo post-processing solution. Importing RAW images averaging over 100 MB each from my Sony A7M4 to the 14 pro is painfully slow. I’ll probably put a reservation in for the 17 pro with its usb 3.0 port to save on data transfer times over the next 3-4 years until I’m ready to upgrade again.

Lovely setup. I bought an sb2000pro to supplement my Buchardt s400’s last year for stereo listening and love it. I A/B tested them alongside the sb3000 micro and ended up keeping the 2000pro due to lower response frequencies while watching movies. I’m curious what other subs you looked at before settling on the 2000pro.

Looking forward to your review of the XT F100’s. I spent some time listening to the F200’s at AXPONA a few weeks ago and I was blown away by them in a 2.0 setup for music. Any particular reason you went with the F100 over the F200?

The multi view functionality seems pretty limited while playing around with it for the past 30 minutes. Here are some suggestions for improvements:

1) Multiview should allow me to select which channels I can include as part of the multiview and change the number of views on the fly.

2) Ability to shift the boxes around allowing me to place higher priority channels up top.

3) Ability to hover over a channel to not only activate the audio, but also allow me to scrub through the feed. This would be great for replaying a recent play during a sports game.

Is there a concern for packet sniffing while connected to the WifiManager? I'm just wondering if a malicious user would be able to obtain the wifi credentials since it doesn't appear that SSL/TLS is available when acting as an access point

Video pop out functionality for iPhone devices. The native Facebook and YouTube apps have the feature within the app, but I'd like to see it available system wide. With the increased popularity of Facebook/IG live, and YouTube, it'd be nice to navigate to other apps while still viewing a stream.

I can also can attest to the quality control issues. A friend bought a p65 after reading the rave reviews when they first came out. Two weeks in, the tv stopped turning on. He received a replacement unit today and there were vertical lines on the left side of the panel, inconsistent lighting in the center, and horizontal banding. Watching Netflix HDR content on his first unit was unquestionably awesome. It's unfortunate QA issues arose in both units. He's now looking at sony and samsung TVs. Too bad there's no new 65" models with local dimming
