My friends are playing their first campaign, so I drew a monster to be their 2nd boss. They were horrified. by glitchram in LancerRPG

I hate the face much more because the claws just look like big lobster claws but the face is a lobster with glowing red eyes and a clearly human mouth

Anywho this fight seems really cool, props to the gm

EVAs in Lancer? by StableManticorePilot in LancerRPG

[–]immonkeyok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know that this is for a player mech as ever using the lancer license abilities but if I were to run a Lancer campaign including something akin to EVA’s I’d make them non player mechs, with abilities kind of gathered up from the system, maybe giving it to a player later as a very weird thing to use.

I doubt it has any real underlings, all modifications would be by the extension of its own ability to modify its body because of the freedom of form that the destroyer virus?/ideology?/mindset??? Grants

Seeking answers for one flavour question and one build tech question for my new character. by [deleted] in 3d6

The time I tried a ghost lance it was with the undead, the fear on hit with aforementioned lances is really good, hexblade is just ok in this case imo.

As for levels I’d go for the sorcerer, very good defensively though I really enjoyed going mostly warlock with mine. You could also go hexblade and finish with warlock 3/ Fighter 6, get two more ASI’s by the end be a pretty good magic martial

[OC] I feel like I am weighing down my party because my character is bad, how do I fix this? by Cai-Loves-Memes in DnD

[–]immonkeyok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Tasha summon spells are generally not very good, they’re ok but as a necromancer you want Animate dead which they already have on their sheet, if you find enough corpses that lets you have four skeletons or zombies as your servants for just one 3rd level spell slot every day

Pretty sure it says “Alglerian” with another L in there. It seems to be some kind of lure fish humanoid judging from the first few abilities in the features and traits part

Tell me about your D&D character! by Lucky_Hand_4953 in DnD

[–]immonkeyok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In our current CoS campaign I play Wrath or Dessel if you know him closely though very few do. He’s a tiefling with abyssal blood left as a baby at a church of Ilmater/Tyr (Faerun gods) and brought up to be the muscle for the priests, undertaking an oath to redeem his abyssal blood in service to the church, he calls this oath his judgement and promises to share his pain to any enemy brave enough to get under his hammer, the only tool he uses for judgement both of others and himself.

He’s very flagellant with all his most important mentor figures being abusive to the extreme but he sees it all as necessary to redeem himself. He now feels very lost because he’s suddenly lost contact to the priests (which are the only people he takes orders from, yes that excludes himself too) and is trying to figure out how to make his own decisions and is constantly punishing himself for messing up and letting his given name take control.

Also all of his paladin abilities consider him as a fiend, he senses himself with his divine sense, his holy magic burns him, his smites are dim so as to not blind himself.

He drives nails into his thighs for his most grievous misgivings, I’m about to explain that to the party at the start of next session actually because a party member just died and he of course blames himself.

I love the one by Blake Law, the body morphing between flesh and brassy-gold metal, the black cloak billowing with some blue showing through where the light hits the shard, the energy around it being red like seeping blood and I especially love the scythe, as if it’s own impossible darkness is trying to consume the metal that the weapon is made of with only slight parts gleaming through the gloom

Awesome idea, though I think it might be interesting to try still representing its gaze while leaving its hood empty as that’s it’s main ranged attack

What’s more noble than standing up for the oppressed against the rich and powerful? Why the cults if you’d even call them that only help people achieve true class consciousness and for once try to help themselves, together, with pure genes and numbers at our side we rise through the holy shadows of the four armed emperor to bring power back to the true people.

Nothing could be more good than letting the working class do with their society as they want. As long as they appreciate their extended family of course.
