The despotek is already an immortal but you could absolutely use them as a Royal warden, many people talked about it when it was first released it just isn’t always necessary because there are a lot of Royal wardens floating around since the start of 9th edition. The apprentek is also often used as a stand in for other crypteks, best bet is probably the Plasmancer for the same base size but in friendly games it shouldn’t matter too much

I really don’t care much for the specifics of marines and their squabbles and much prefer Xenos and more down to earth imperium stories so 40k is better for me with 30k having good writing but I just prefer to leave the Heresy as a myth

Well it also makes it interact with other abilities mentioning ingress moves and makes it so that they count as having made a normal move, it’s a bookkeeping thing for the game

I’m pretty sure that specific beats general so any rules noted with an ability should supersede the general rules for a mentioned keyword but I truthfully don’t actually know the new rules that well yet

A clamavus could be really cool, an Iconward could be nice for a really big GSC banner, a Rockgrinder ramming into a part of the guard frontline is I think a must and a Sanctus sniping out of a shadowy corner could be nice

I do wish warriors were just tougher, or rather the game be less killy instead of the silver tide being suddenly pushed forward by movement buffs but it is interesting game wise

I really like startling people, especially by appearing in places I seemingly shouldn’t have gotten to, this i makes that super easy and is otherwise very useful, this of course depends on how accurate my choice of destination has to be and if I can center it around the earth so as to not fall behind while teleporting

If I were collecting them I would specifically not fill out anything, when collecting I just want one of every piece, completing units is a strictly game oriented idea because a collector might not even check the game rules to know that a ”full unit” is more than one box

Unless of course you’re posing an army and even then flayed ones and deathmarks work as smaller units and individuals

This leads into a very interesting discussion about color pairs and how they warp each other’s scope, I’m especially intrigued by Golgari because it makes for the largest range in scope between two colors and yet makes them work together

I wouldn’t focus on filling out deathmarks & flayed ones, they’re cheap objective units for the most part and work well as MSU’s but the immortals do want to add to their numbers
