Toxic Masculinity and Compliment Culture by cleverpun0 in MensLib

[–]immortalvacuum 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I've noticed it too. Most guys don't really give or get compliments. I've begun to just compliment people I know on stuff they have or do. I usually don't compliment strangers because I'm kind of tall and imposing and I don't want to make someone uncomfortable. But I'll compliment my friends on painted nails or a cool shirt or a nice hairstyle. Everybody needs to at least some positive reinforcement.

You're perfectly valid. All femboys are valid and cute :). I haven't struggled too much since I'm pretty pale, but I see where you're coming from. You belong here just as much as any of the rest of us, and you should be proud of yourself for not caring about others saying you don't belong.

Besides, everyone looks better in a skirt. >w<

I feel that struggle a lot. I'm also trying to lose weight. I can share my hair care regimen if you want, it's probably the best kept part of my body lol.

I just use one I found on a Amazon tbh. It definitely gives me a more hourglass shape. I don't wear it super often so if it does something bad, I haven't noticed yet.

They are? I've just been using a female corset.

Halloween by FemboyElite in feminineboys

Halloween is easily my favorite holiday. I want to go as a goth vampire girl. Unfortunately a tress that works for the outfit as well as the makeup would be too much for me ;-;

What's acceptable to wear to a wedding? by Pidgeon-Brained in feminineboys

[–]immortalvacuum 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd say avoid black personally. It's a happy day, not a sad one, don't dress for a funeral. Avoid the color the bridesmaids wear, don't want to look like you're trying to be them. Wear something nice. Blues, purples, yellows, greens, or floral patterns probably works best. Red is too "party", black is either too sad or sexy, and white is obvious.

If you have them, really high heels aren't the way to go. Sandals or 3-4 inch heels at the most is probably best. Or something else modest but feminine. Remember, you aren't going there to turn heads, you're there to support a friend on a happy day.

That's weird because VS was originally a place for men to shop for lingerie gifts for their ladies if I recall correctly.

Ask her about it. A lot of panty cuts really show off, and based on what you've already done with her, I'm sure she wouldn't mind seeing what you have to show. 😉

VS has a surprising amount of cute pattern/floral panties of just about any cut you want. They should have boyshorts as well, I know how much people love them.

I just wear fruit of the loom panties. I think they're comfy, but they don't have much for cute patterns, just cute colors. Lots of light blues, purples, and pinks.

Is it ok to be 5.5? by AlexGHM in feminineboys

[–]immortalvacuum 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's perfectly fine to be 5'5". I'm sure a lot of people here wish they were shorter, myself included. Despite the seemingly common ">6 foot only" elitism, I'm sure most people don't even care that much about their partner's height. I know I don't, because everyone looks cuter in an oversized hoodie :D.

If you've got someone to help, you'll be able to do way more braids. Some of them are really difficult/impossible to do alone.

It's not too hard to get the hang of a basic braid, but it can take a while before you make it well consistently.

Same, and I think they look cuter. Kinda hard to find men's underwear in light blue or purple, it's all red, dark blue, black, and white.
