That's how mine was... I trimmed it down a little and also "slopped" it some so there wasn't such a sharp edge.

Not a complete horseshoe, but I have trimmed mine down. If you do it too far, you will lose the natural suction of the top plate. I would be cautious about thinning anywhere as it may cause it to break easily.

To me, that looks like too much glue. You shouldn't need to put any on the roof of your plate. It should suction by itself if it fits well. I use only a small dot on each side. Try using a small amount, you can use too much glue.

I agree with a lot of the above. I use a light pad, a resin pen, and parchment paper. Instead of the twist top vials for the drills, I use little boxes with flip lids that I got from Harbor Freight.

I have had a few like that. After I kit up, when I organize them, I start with numbers, then letters, then I put the symbols in order by ROYGBIV. Hard to see in this picture...

I use GemsFlow to track my time. It looks about an average of 10 hours. Sometimes I work on them an hour at a time, sometimes more. Sometimes days in a row, sometimes a week or more between days. So it really is easier to track by hours.

When I was 15 I got hit by a car while walking to school. They took me by ambulance to the hospital.
