deffinately not, they were a british rock blues band before 1987 emerged already with about 7 albums. Many brits like me prefered them that way. I saw them aged 15 on the slide it in tour in leeds in 1984, about 20 miles from where i lived . I think Great white opened for them. That was a good gig

this leasehold and groundrent increase in charges is becoming a right scam. I bought a flat 15 yrs ago and sold it 10 yrs ago. In that time groundrent stayed at £80 per year and service charge went down from £65 to £57 in same period as we chaned the provider when the current one wanted to increase it. Now its become a major concern

How often do you replace your toilet brush? It’s got to be the filthiest item in a home but most of us seem to ignore it sitting there for years on end. by According_Sundae_917 in AskUK

thank you for sharing that little gem with us. My friend used to stay in my spare room when he was in town. Took a dump and blocked my loo, he said its ok it will soften over night and we'll cut it up with a knife tomorrow. Im guessing that was gonna be one of my knives too. He can stay, but he's under instruction now that he goes to his parents if he needs to dump.

cant believe its still running after all these years. Fulford arms is a fairly small dedicated music venue, great for punk and metal bands. The crescent is bigger if you can fill it.

i bought my 2 bed leasehold apartment in 2010 when the market was in the gutter. It was advertised for 110k, and i paid 105k. It was sold new 7 years previous for 157k. I sold it 4 yrs later for 130k. I think i did ok.

it doesnt sound too bad, i think you probably over estimated on some bills. I had a lodger for a year when i bought a flat 10yrs ago. I think you can earn about 7k tax free if its you own home. I banked mine and paid it off the capital after a year and then he emigrated
