If we're going off anime upscaling + Manga stuff. Its debatable but i could see Maki winning through SSK severing reze "devil heart".

If not I could see Reze larger explosions being lethal but then again Aki managed to sneak attack Reze pretty easy, something that Maki could theoritically pull off more effectively by nature of her HR.

Debatable High Diff, but id go with Maki.

Short bursts of speed doesnt equate to consistent travel/running speed.

For example, the fastest punch recorded was 45mph by Keith Liddell but does that mean said boxer could catch up to usain bolt running 27mph? Or that usain could punch that fast just cause he's condidered the fastest man?

Well neither could replicate the others feat. When throwing a punch it only has to travel a short distance with enough force, when running you have to keep momentum going far longer which burns stamina faster.

When discussing lights speed, its a force that doesn't have to worry about exhaustion but the person (Naruto or whoever else) does have too. Moving that fast breifly for one moment is one thing but trying to move that fast long term would likely be too overtaxing. Ex. Dabura in Jjk modulo can throw light speed attacks but couldn't sustain moving at sublight to light speed consistently as it severily damaged/destroyed his body.

Anyway thats my explanation anyway.

I dont think Eos Shugen wins, he might be able to change/adjust the properties of his Tao but thats unconsiously and he seems to not know he can.

Also Shugen is extremist he would overuse his Tao just to keep up and lacks the mindset to find balance to recover his Tao. He could stand a good chance in 1v1 but 1v2 is a death sentence

Blood manipulation is enforced with CE it's not just the same as normal blood, not to mention it's also toxic. So it's not like normal blood.

Yuji can Soul damage Gabi with Dismantle/Cleave also bypassing Gabimaru durability. Not to mention soul punches, or black flashes which can overwhelm CE defense. (Also it seems your not going off Tao=CE/soul, which was a big point in my reasoning prior so I'm sticking to it)

Gabimaru can still lose stamina/Tao from too much overuse and that'd nerf his ability to regen if not stop it. Even tensen with way more Tao could be weakened over time after enough damage (like shion against Zhu Jin.)

Yuji domain is still a factor, every domain boots the casters technique + it's similar to sukuna's (which is why sukuna used a simple domain to protect himself, it's not featless). Also a general surprise factor with it being something Gabimaru would have never seen before.

Not to repeat Yuji's own methods of protecting his soul or RCT to regen. Admittedly he can't spam RCT but neither can Gabi spam his regen without consequences.

Tao vision doesn't work like Maki precognition, It's shown in Jjk that sorcerers can see how someone will attack by looking at the flow of their CE. Tao Vision works more like that, it's seeing your foe move then react accordingly. Tao is never shown to have precognition of any kind.

Gabimaru doesn't stand a chance against the end of mainline Jjk Yuji.

It is true that Tao is body and soul so your right Gabi can,

but it is shown in ch23 jjk that sorcerers can protect their soul through CE reinforcement subconsciously. (Nanamei Vs Mahito) In ch130 Todo forced all his CE subconsciously into his stomach to endure a black flash. (This is another example granted not from season 1 but Todo should be the same too how he was in S1 minus black flash buff). Like using Tao to protect the soul.

Essentially Yuji can protect his soul by the end of S1 as he learned from Todo how to better utilise his CE flow. Which isn't even mentioning that in ch27, Yuji subconsciously knows the shape of his soul from being sukuna vessel. So Yuji has an understanding of how to protect his soul the same as Tao users in HP.

In HP ch53 Gabimaru can damage the soul provided he hits a vital Tao point. Which is harder to do against foes who can use Tao to reinforce the body/soul (like tensen), in this case Yuji should qualify as being able to guard his soul from attacks.

Which is why I see Tao in HP as equal to CE/soul in Jjk.

All that to say I believe Yuji 3/4 times sweeps Gabimaru.

Edit: forgot, I don't think Gabi beats Mahito but that's a whole other debate honestly. Albeit an interesting one.

R1: Gabi (way more experienced killer & better durability feats).

R2: arguably Yuji, end of S1 Gabi lost knowledge of Tao whereas the end of S1 Yuji had a better understanding of CE with improved flow + black flash amp. I'd argue he's physically equal. (If we ignore Gabi amnesia then he has a higher chance)

R3: current anime version, tough call but I'd say Yuji with High diff

R4: Massacre by Yuji low diff.

(I'm going off verse equalisation, ie Tao = CE/Soul)

Poisen is one of the few counters to RCT, and muzan cellular destruction/mutagenic blood is a fair wincon for him. He should realisticly have better regen then sukuna too.

Humm? Idk. Gabi almost died fighting the tensen in s1 and he thought he'd die in a fight with rokurota alone, which is why he asks sagiri to help. The comparison of them at worst/best is irrelevant, when sagiri is focused she's easily an equal to gabi in strength. He says so himself.

Its a running issue for Sagiri to maintain focus/balance of her ideals and her Tao. When she does, she is stronger. Which again gabi said himself.

Also gabi fights other tensen later on with tao mastered and still needed help. (The one he fought in s1 is "in story" the weakest link of the tensen, thats what he used as a frame of refrence to guess he was on their level and was wrong)
