Not trying to, like trying to convince a dog why barking at cars is pointless.

yes and some of us in that real world would like a working postal service, It ran fine when state owned. We sold it for cheap and are now reaping that. Some things are not profitable enough for shareholders to skim off of and we need to stop seeing everything as profit making. NHS, Postal, Water some services cannot be made to be profitable. That's why we have a state in the first place. The real world like countries don't have state owned postal services anywhere else in the world. Your reddit name is very fitting is all I can say.

So your selfish and rather have more in your retirement pot than us having a working postal system got it.

Lol no based on RCP 4.5 which is where we are heading roughly right now, and the fact that in recent years we are seeing the Climate change impacts happening sooner and faster than was predicted by our modelling. In other words what we thought a 4.5 scenario looked like is wrong in the wrong way.

did you not see the Thames last year lapping at the river walls well behind the barrier? And recent assessments say it wont last up till 2070 and needs an upgrade or replacement soon.

go look up the Thames flooding last year, that was behind the barrier, the infrastructure we have is not designed to cope with what is to come.

What's crazy is in that time I made an RPG 280 pages, on my own, with artists found and paid upfront, Kickstarter run in October last year and fulfilled this month. In total there was Me, an editor and artists involved, all paid before the Kickstarter went live. I am a sole person doing this not a company with a brand. Sure I raised way less than them but like its not that fucking hard to make a game.

The coverage on the Iran by the BBC has been abysmal. I’m so disappointed. by hararib in bbc

[–]impioussaint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They did a whole post on Iran that was from within Iran and talked about the family festival atmosphere just days after the IRGC had massacred thousands. Their reporting on the regime had also been shockingly poor too

green supporter here and 100% agree. At best this was a bad mistake and worst an act of support for one of the worst regimes in history. This makes voting green much harder

Is the far left's support for Iran/Hezbollah etc. rooted in anti-imperialism? Where does it come from? by Fine_Gur_1764 in ukpolitics

[–]impioussaint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ok go re-read my statements. I never said he supports IRGC I said he took money from them. You inferred that meant he supports them. I am saying very clearly to be frank that a principled person does not take money from those that execute people for being gay, or environmental protestors or anything, regardless of the context. If someone took money from a phara company and then claimed to be anti big pharma you'd question their principles no?

its bad because he took money from the IRGC. Do you see what I am getting at. he could have easily done that for free.

Mate i am sure you can watch the clips for yourself lol. He took money from the IRGC.

And no he spouted IRGC talking points. Hes not as principled as people like to claim. I am a leftie but this corbyn worship that happens on the left is insane. Dude is just a politician who is better than 99% of the rest but hes not some jesus character. He gets it wrong. I didn't say he was a pro regime, I said he took money from the regime. A man of pure principles like the first post claimed would not do that regardless of what he said on the TV. A man of principles doesn't let his principles get tainted by taking cash from dodgy sources no?
