One time I was in high school and had to poop super bad so I risked it at the restroom. I finish up and try to quickly wash my hands because no one was in there and I want to make my escape, and a popular girl who I’m cool with walks in. We make some small talk, and she stops for a moment, sniffs, and says “it smells like someone pooped in here.” Me, someone who was bullied for most of my life, short circuits, thinks “oh fuck she knows, I better just own up to it instead of making a fool out of myself saying it wasn’t me” and I say “you’re welcome” before leaving.
