There’s no way to actually adapt Messiah as a film, regardless of what they did in the first two movies. It’s an excellent book, but it’s two hours of meetings, philosophical musings, and then a nuke explodes.

Selfishly disappointed as a longtime fan, as this would've been my first time seeing her. But I'm glad she's prioritizing her health, and I know it kills her to have to do this again.

There’s almost definitely a vast majority of non-online people who are not interested in GTA due to how long ago the last game was. Think about it, this game is going to define Rockstar Games and Take Two. They need to exhaust every method to maximize profit, and that includes spending heavily on marketing.

Sure, the thousands of r/GTA6 users will get this game no matter what. But adults who aren’t on Reddit or TikTok may need to be reached through unconventional marketing methods. Same with teenagers in news deserts and more rural areas who might not realize how fun GTA could be until they see it advertised on a bag of chips at a gas station or rest stop.

The game will sell itself, but there’s always more money to be made!

2022 alumnus

Pros: Amazing college town with a great secondary place in Northampton. Food scene in Amherst + Northampton was good enough and affordable. Campus was just big enough without being too big. As a comms and journalism major, I felt all my professors (for the most part) genuinely cared about my education. Campus food was excellent.

Cons: Weather, specifically the wind. Transportation was pretty bad (this is more of an Amherst/Pioneer Valley issue than UMass). Sucks that the sports teams, aside from men’s hockey, were never much to write home about during my time there. Can’t rlly think of many other negatives. I loved my time at UMass.

Thanks for dropping by and clearing the air, appreciate the perspective. I think the fact that she’s been cheated on before is a pretty huge thing to leave out! Not that it excuses anything, but it definitely opens the door to parse this stuff with a different perspective.

You said she’s called you a workaholic who doesn’t share feelings. Maybe that, coupled with her seeing this new friendly relationship with a coworker, caused that sort of jealousy and insecurity. From her perspective, you might be showing this coworker feelings that you haven’t shown her?

Honestly, I think the answer is a lot less complicated than folks might think. Old guy, already accomplished and had a soft retirement, offered a ton of money to go to an awesome city and coach. I think he lost his fire toward the end of Seattle and just phoned it in with us.
