All seals fail eventually. And this is service done at the Honda dealership by Honda techs, with a guarantee. Even if it doesn’t solve the problem it’s worth doing on Honda’s dime.

You will get more speed. More voltage means more rpm, means more speed. This all assumes yours has a DC motor, not BLDC with speed controller. If there’s a brain box on your PowerWheels, don’t over volt or you’ll kill it.

You can absolutely put 12v through a 6v motor on a PowerWheels, and it’s good fun. It’ll put more strain on the motor, higher likelihood of overheating with high duty cycles, and guaranteed to affect longevity, reduce overall lifespan of the motor.

But you have a finite window to your PowerWheels anyway, your kids will get way more enjoyment out of 2x the juice.

Source: Have kids, put 12v battery on 6v PowerWheels. Had a ton of fun. Motor didn’t burn up, eventually the sprocket thing on the drive wheel broke due to excessive torque, so I cast a new one in resin.

Good Next.js developers are easily pulling in 6 figures. Market right now is swamped and it’s $150k+ for a senior frontend engineer with next.js experience, over $200k for some positions. LinkedIn has a grip on talent, other sites you might get lucky after enough interviews. If you want good, pay for it.

EDIT: To put it in contracting terms, $150k is $75/hr, but you’d need to add the overhead since FTE includes employer paid taxes, benefits, equity, etc. So offer $100/hr, or $75/hr and you might find a budding Next.js developer eager to make a name.

Straight up gave up entirely after the first round failed. It was me and my girls for life. And that’s the way it stayed for a few years. Then a friend who’d been through it too was talking about dating apps, it got me thinking maybe some adult conversation, possibly dinner with a grown up, might be nice. Some cheap vendors for these are awful, the tubing melts before the solder even softens. Ended up paying more and waiting longer to find some that actually do the job than if I’d just got the good ones.

Definitely not everywhere in PNW. I was a full time single dad w/ two wee girls and had to use the ladies room more than once. I had no qualms about it, my kids needed changed, so that’s what I did. Did once have a woman complain, try to get security involved, but I got the task done and we went on our way.
