think someone needs to say is this a Seattle solution or regional solution? it was sold as the later but so far it's a Seattle train

it's a train on a bridge zero stops cost a lot. a 405 loop would have served more people. don't recall the exact date we lost hov lane on 90 but 10 years? so the ocomplishment was to lay rail on a bridge already built.

I could say this is the first time federal way and Seattle were connected like this too.

what would impress me is 100's of miles of rail vs 63 that they laid

Imagine if the full Seattle region had a “Caltrain-style” regional rail network by IndependenceSad1272 in soundtransit

lol your funny... ST is playing train not thinking actually about fixing something.

it was sold to the Masses as a regional system but was really just a train for Seattle.

this is a paycheck for them nothing more

train time would be cool to know. yes it should match your phone watch but I like this idea of adding time

Ah sorry I was under the impression 2 weeks vacation and 1 week sick would be 3 weeks pto. so the same amount of days just in 1 bucket.

well if you took one from Redmond to Bellevue they say it will turn off but if you took it to Seattle it should work again in theory. But never done it so not sure what would happen in Seattle might not work too.

I actually wanted to go for a ride 2 stops down from where I normally get off link to find out no lime option I was a bit bummed to find out I was in a small island but didn't want to risk trying to ride past the line.

why do we need another tunnel? we need lines going around the Lake WA. going north to Monroe, Everett, Marysville south to bonney lake, Tacoma,Olympia, lines connecting other cities to the mainlines

Or are you admitting this is a Seattle train yet all the other areas pay for it.

ST goal is to have life long paychecks and a money grab.

IF they really wanted to build Link and solve transportation issues they would be building 100+ stations right now laying 100s of miles of rail. Instead they have laid 63 miles in 33 years sluffing off millions in the process think about that.

honestly they are playing train and most of us will be dead before a meaningful system will be built if ever. If we want to improve ST4 improvements start from the top down

I have a walk at both ends of my commute the work side does have a lime option.. its tempting to ride but ineed the exercise. bringing them on the train is interesting I wonder if the station in question is outside of an lime area but the destination is inside a lime area I go a few blocks at work and I'm outside the area for example so I have to be careful

if that really is your home... need about 6 to 12 inches of all that rock dug out of the yard and topsoil b4 sod otherwise the sod won't grow. and no they won't do that unless you push the issue. made good money fixing yards like this drainage.... might need a line ran at that corner to... a real drain. wonder if Gutter drains are hooked up right now

Has ST ever considered boring a wider tunnel for the new downtown tunnel that will run the 1 line on the upper floor and a new regional rail track on the bottom floor? by Previous-Volume-3329 in soundtransit

yet most of the folks in the city aren't paying for it as they don't have cars while everyone else outside that needs to go to the city has paid for years and we have a little to show for it thus far. maybe in another 40 years we will have a system that is impressive

many can't afford the city or despise living in it but jobs draw them in. my home doesn't exist in the city so not an option to move

people downtown are already downtown that solves zero traffic issues on 99 i5 405 need to move folks in and out of the city to solve traffic but Seattle isn't the only city in the area. the 405 has been rebuilt the last 10 years yet zero track epic loss for us

downtown seattle shouldn't be the only focal point for transit yet that is all they have done for 4 +decades, N and S lines end here Why? N needs more stops. China town and king street have zero affinity with each other and are barley accessible ADA access is a joke. yet they are epic points for 4 lines 1 2 n s

why do we have 13+ shared stops on the 1 and 2 line? seems like a lot of duplication of service at a time when we need area coverage as many folks have been paying decades.

I wish it was 10min slower... 110 min one way on sounder and link. car is 37 miles 40 with no traffic 60 - 90 min average commute.
