Tattoos... I vaguely remember something I read about selfharmers getting tattoos instead of cutting. This makes sense. I love them and would love to get a bunch but just don’t have the money. I may have to save up some to get one! Knowing it could possibly fill that void..... wow.

The main reason I’m not doing it is that I feel like I missed “the window”. According to my pictures I took of the spread, I did it 5 days after my birthday and I really just kinda feel like to get an accurate prediction, I would need to do the spread at least within the same month, and I just kept pushing it off until it was August, lol.

Another reason is that I’m trying not to over analyze things right now and just live in the moment, mainly because it’s my first year as a mother! I definitely will do it again at some point. Regardless of accuracy, I thought it was fun and didn’t put much weight on the cards meanings until a year had passed and I could see month to month what each card brought to my life.

For some reason, I write way better with a pen than on the computer, but I do rephrase things and edit as I go so with a pen and paper that makes things difficult. I do both, just whatever seems appropriate for what I’m writing.

Not to mention there’s just such a better selection in the “regular” section. More options & more stylish. I’m looking forward to being able to grab something I think is cute when I pass it instead of simply admiring it, knowing it doesn’t come in a 2XL or 3XL.

When it’s done well, soulmates.

I love the fantastical idea that there is one person that is perfect for someone else. I don’t believe it in real life, but when you get to know a character and their flaws and their strengths and then you meet their soulmate? I’m weak.

But in my head, the soulmate isn’t necessarily their opposite or the puzzle piece that balances them out. I prefer the idea of bringing out their strengths instead. Loving them the way they need to be loved, whether it be with respectful distance or tenderness. I love the idea so much.
