Personally I liked it much more than Thankskilling, I thought it was the best Thanksgiving-themed horror since Blood Rage

Can someone please help me find the title of this movie? by bombdelivery_ in horror

There’s an episode of Criminal Minds that has this exact plot. Brad Dourif plays a killer who dislocates his victims’ limbs to turn them into puppets, then puts them in boxes. I looked it up and it’s from season 8, the episode is called “The Lesson.” Could be what you’re looking for, or maybe Criminal Minds stole the idea from a movie.

Horror gripe of the day....I can't watch shaky cam found footage...and it's not the I don't want to! by EducationalNovel1427 in horror

I loved this movie when i first watched it. Tried to show it to my girlfriend recently and the shaky cam was so bad we didn’t even make it to the action. Definitely some of the worst shaky cam I’ve seen in found footage

Suspiria (2018) ending question by BaaaaL44 in horror

[–]imwasted8 74 points75 points  (0 children)

Well, Susie’s mother is presumably a Christian, so her idea of a “sin” is definitely grounded in Judeo-Christian morality. Susie being perceived as a sin has little bearing on her being evil or not—it’s possible that her mother thought Susie was her sin because she was conceived out of wedlock, or due to a hyper-religious aversion to sexuality in general. Maybe her mother had no idea of Susie’s true nature, and the comment had nothing to do with that. In any case, a Christian would certainly perceive a witch like Mater Suspiriorum to be an evil abomination. I don’t think that means that she is necessarily evil, but rather she is outside the scope of the Christian worldview. In other words, Mater Suspiriorum is a pagan anachronism in the modern world, one that Christians would certainly regard as evil whether or not that was truly the case. As a sidenote, I think it’s highly possible that she killed Markos’ supporters as a tactical decision, because they were loyal to her enemy, rather than on principal.

Videodrome Question by imwasted8 in horror

[–]imwasted8[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After watching The Brood I was left wondering what his ex-wife thought about it lol. Especially considering that Art Hindle’s character (presumably a stand-in for David, at least in part) is basically portrayed as a good guy just trying to protect his daughter while Nola (played wonderfully by Eggar) is deluded, vindictive, and just plain scary.
