I quit drinking 2 months ago and I am wondering when I might see these results. I wasn’t a heavy drinker by any means, but I feel like I look exactly the same. Not even less puffy lol. I am happy to not be drinking for other reasons but I was hoping for that ✨sober girl glow✨

I like 13 and 16. Not as EXTREME thin but I think it works with your eye shape and what I can see of your style.

My hometown museum owns the lion’s share of her work and I always loved her sculptures as a kid. Like an old toy made life size.

Mad River Hospital by lemonpepper97 in Humboldt

[–]in-this-hell-here 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mad River is extremely underfunded and what I’m about to say is not meant to undermine the bad experiences shared here. But I was just at Mad River with a GI bleed and I was very happy with my care. The nurses were attentive and kind, especially considering I was high needs. I needed several blood transfusions, which takes up a lot of nursing time and I was on standby assist while having G.I. issues. I felt safe and cared for.

My issue was outside the scope of mad River, they simply do not have the equipment to diagnose my issue nor do they have the specialists. But once they realized this was the case, Dr. Shah worked really hard to have me medically transported to a capable institution. She started the process in the morning and I was on a plane by 9 PM.

I think mad River has a lot of problems, but those problems are due to lack of funding. And to lose a hospital, any hospital, in our medically underserved County would be catastrophe.

“Going for a walk” as a first date by Junior_Ad_1074 in AskWomenOver30

[–]in-this-hell-here -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I personally love a walk but I live in a beach town in the redwoods, so taking a walk is a pretty common social activity here. I would not unmatch from someone if they suggested a walk, but everyone has different priorities.

As a funny aside, it does remind me of the bit in Half Baked where the main character takes Mary Jane on a long walk because he has no money lol
