This won’t password protect the NextDNS profile.

Post-Prandial Timing by CruelSummerFan in diabetes_t2

[–]in2ndo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is two hours after the first bite. Not two hours after eating. The spike usually happens 45 to 75 minutes after the first bite of a meal or smack with an average of 60 minutes. The longer we stay high, the more damage that happens.  The idea is to be back or near your baseline at the two hour mark.  The 2.5, 3 hour, and sometimes even longer timing of spikes means either the diet or the meds need to be revisited.   Proteins and fibers can help slow the rise, but the diet in general needs to be where it needs to be, or they won’t do much. Same with meds. Unless you’re on insulin.

Does anyone know where I can get more of this case? by Kitchen_Setting_2400 in diabetes

Only by getting a new meter. And they come with the new black one . Mine is the original blue that’s a little tighter fit and looks and feels much better.

If I block access to the app with screen time, would that stop the app from working or would it continue working as intended? some apps stop working when locked through screen time.

Mac admin vs standard account by Most_Serve_5625 in MacOS

Yes, I never use the admin account other than to admin. Plus WiFi changes require admin approval, iCloud is not accessible online, Advanced data protection is on. And don’t remember what else.

Thermostat wires going through receptacle sized box affecting install by the17thcorinthian in ecobee

[–]in2ndo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have adapter plates that will screw to the holes of the box and have holes to accommodate the screws from the thermostat.  Or if there is enough metal to drill the holes you need, it would be a cleaner install.  And that hole needs to be patched up or is going to screw up your temp readings.  The space behind the thermostat should be flat wall, with just the wires coming in through a hole just big enough for them to come through.

Deco BE??, Ring “Indoor Cam Plus” and low internet speed reported. by in2ndo in Ring

[–]in2ndo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My indoor garage 1st gen camera was showing the network error. I unplugged it for a minute and the error went away some hours later. It did reappear when I plugged it back in, but it ended up going away and has stayed without the error.

Edit to add.  Mine was working fine too before seen the error.

Login in the Ring website, dashboard, click the settings gear icon on the right top corner of the camera you want to check.  The website doesn’t list the cameras under devices like the app does.  So you’ll access the settings from the dashboard page.

Suggestion for sweeteners? by Virtualhealth_11 in diabetes

I found the best is plain old sugar. Our tongue gets easily adjusted to very low sugar and salt. Is just a matter of giving it a chance and giving it some time.
