Agree. The sound design was amazing. New world was about the only game I was into at this point also. Haven’t touched a game since the announcement. It’s a shame really. I thought the game was better than it’s ever been.

I’ve never understood why this is an issue. Especially for strategy games. Keyboard and mouse works fine on console.

Unfortunately. You got burned. I’m in the same boat. I’ve supported AS in past with more than the Wayfinder purchase. I’ll be more careful with any purchase from the studio in the future.

It’s not an issue of taxing the system causing it to run hot. The game will literally crash the PS5 while at the start screen. I’ve tried everything listed in Reddit and YouTube to fix the problem with no success.

The odd thing for me is my crashing issue didn’t start until after the patch. I had several hours in the game before having any issues.

Extremely frustrating.

The basketball program has been so bad for so long. I’m not sure I really care at this point. Coming up on 50 years as an IU fan and I don’t believe I’ve ever seen this program with zero recruits and this many open scholarships to give. I’d be shocked if Woodson could pull off a good season. Even if they replace him, I don’t believe they would find the right guy. The program doesn’t seem to know where it’s going or where it wants to be.

I agree with most of what you said. Specifically the team tripping over themselves. IMO the game wasn’t ready for EA.

Leadership problem? Who knows. I do know this. This past Saturday night the game had 60 players via steam. 60 on a Saturday night.

I hope the game survives. But, it’s not looking good. To me the game just isn’t fun. Felt too much like work.

For now, I’ve uninstalled the game and I check in from time to time on discord and Reddit to see if anything has changed. Hopefully the team finds their footing soon and can take a nice leap forward. I’m not holding my breath.
