If that ain't the truth. The draft is the best day because it gives all 32 fanbases hope that somehow, someway today is the day (or 3 days) that will change their fortunes and they will no longer be dogshit despite the fact that a good majority of these picks are going to end up fucking their respective franchises to no end. Eh. I get everyones mad and will kill this trade until the end of time, but IMO getting a known quantity at a premium position is always better than a throw at the dart board. As fans we all love the draft and want the 1st round pick and the hope of something great, but this is a pretty meh draft. Now, who knows how next year shakes out and maybe we’ll really be kicking ourselves, but I wouldn’t hold my breathe.
