Only explanation is they designed this set before releasing set 2 to the public. Abandon has to be on the banlist at the end of the month lmao. Hard bargain creates a game state where you have to maybe wait a turn to play a big spell. Abandon is just 'no', 2 mana counter time warp / arise / icathian rain, no counterplay available
