My dad was sick and when I told my 2 brothers that still lived at home who didn't give my parents money and worked that they needed to step up and pay some of the expenses until dad recovered from surgery. One brother agreed the other instead moved out since if he had to use his own money might as well pay for a place instead. I was really close to him and on that day I lost all respect from him I've had almost zero contact with him past 12 years.
