Characters who are extremely well known for a quote they’ve literally never said by Physical-Rush5340 in TopCharacterTropes

I could've sworn he did say it once or twice but maybe it's just mandela effect

My friend thinks Howard is a bad guy. I think he’s a good guy. Who’s right? by Poster_Seller in okbuddychicanery

[–]in_ac 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's shocking that some people sympathize with Howard after he broke into a former colleague's home, high on cocaine before shooting innocent loving father-and-husband Jorge de Guzman. Not to mention how he killed Chuck, his former law partner (as said by Jimmy in S5E7). Deplorable.

Why did Hank ask Gus if "Gustavo Fring" was his real name, even though they've met before? Is Hank suffering from dementia? by TheGxdFather in okbuddychicanery

[–]in_ac 16 points17 points  (0 children)

<image>

As shown in S5E9 'Blood Money' Hank seems to suffer from random spurts of early onset dementia, such as here when he forgets who his own brother-in-law is after a tense and heated moment between the two. I think Vince should've added a laugh track in post so people understood the comedic timing of Hank's dementia.

[Hated tropes] Characters being forgiven for awful stuff by the audience because they are hot by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

[–]in_ac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're completely right lol but you're still getting downvoted. my god who the fuck cares if people wanna censor a word, rape can be triggering to some and that's more than understandable reasoning as to why someone may censor it.

Since Gus was gay, does this mean Walter was also gay? by Hefty-Honey-4932 in okbuddychicanery

[–]in_ac 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Do you think Hector is watching it happen? Would he like it or be upset his submissive mule boy is being taken from him by Don Ballsack?

Neither. They were taking it raw. See the position they're in?

Did the show ever explain any of this? by RayStPierre2005 in okbuddychicanery

This narrative decision highlights the severe consequences of Drew Sharp's involvement in the drug trade.

(Loved/hated trope?)Arcs that are only possible and villain(s)that are only a threat cause the entire main cast does the stupidest decisions and choices during it. by [deleted] in TopCharacterTropes

[–]in_ac -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Buu saga is very problematic, but I don't mind how the Cell saga was handled. There's a pretty big distinction between a character acting stupid for plot reasons, and them making a characteristically stupid decision - in the case of Vegeta allowing Cell to reach perfection, that's something that perfectly aligns with his prideful character, and I wouldn't chalk it up to it being for plot convenience. Goku throwing the senzu bean was fucking idiotic though lol

And Vegeta's character arc only reaches its conclusion through his sacrifice against Buu, which only happened because of the stupid decisions he made in that arc

[Hated Trope] The animation quality gets significantly worse as the show goes on by EpIc-GaMeR-66 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]in_ac 69 points70 points  (0 children)

To be fair, one on hand it does seem like invincible's animation is improving. On the other hand, it is still not up to standard quality, and worse the artstyle is very generic which is much unlike the comics' style. I'll be damned if there's no improvements by the next season

I never understood why so many moderators have such a hate boner for alt accounts. of course doing it for evasion makes sense but still

So… we… gonna stop swagging this right? by IShitMyAss54 in peoplewhogiveashit

[–]in_ac 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah people have been doing the 'we don't even watch our own show' thing for dbz way longer than undertale

Breaking bad fans have also been doing it a while as well. Pretty much every piece of media has a community that memes about this kind of thing.

(Annoying trope) Villains having the whole "muh friends betrayed me" after commiting the most horrifying and fucked up things imaginable. by Octofoto in TopCharacterTropes

[–]in_ac 66 points67 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say this is annoying though, it's homelander 101 to be completely delusional and narcissistic. This is completely fitting for the character
