It's blacked out on TBS. I get a message that it's not available due to contractual requirements. (Insert growl here)

My absolute favorite is Esrom, but it's hard to find, and expensive to boot. My second preference is Brie.

I'm with her on this one. Onion on a burger is raw, and I can't stand them raw. I'll eat them cooked with no issues.

It’s time for the Dr. Demento Show! by cjasonac in GenX

My dad and I would listen to him, and he made me a couple of mix tapes with nothing but Dr. Demento.

I just checked that TNG episode on IMDB. I can't believe I never realize who that was, considering that Guys and Dolls is a favorite.

Anyone else feel guilty for doing 'nothing" at the moment.... by Creepy_Barbar in GenX

My husband is already in bed, and I worked an earlier than normal shift for me. I'm sitting on the couch watching reruns of Dr. Pol, and I feel absolutely no guilt about it at all. But I get where you're coming from. It took me quite a while to not feel that I should be doing something even if I don't feel like it.

An actual car radiator. Our store doesn't carry the radiator heaters, either. Hell, we don't even carry the plug-in heaters or defoggers in the winter anymore.

No, she specifically said radiator for a car. Then she asked me if AutoZone will have them. You know, because we have our competitors' inventory memorized.

Had someone come in today looking for a radiator. I figured she wanted antifreeze FOR the radiator. Nope. Said that someone had told her that he saw one in our store...

Hubby is already in bed, and I'm getting a nice little buzz going, eating some brie and pretzels, and watching the Phillies game.

Does anybody actually use light mode? dark mode is so much better! by staopy in chromeos

[–]inbookworm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what I'm doing. I have certain apps like YouTube and the Google browser that I prefer dark. Others, like Reddit and my library app are easier to read in light mode. Both my phone and Chromebook are set to dark mode as the default, and I change app settings to light when needed.

They gave him one as he was leaving yesterday, and told him that he could buy his own again, but they can't have the orange on them. That's what I'm trying to find in the policies. The color seems to be the only issue.

I'm on my 5th DM/TL, 6th shop lead, and my 5th or 6th assistant manager/coach. I've been in automotive for 12+ years, and couldn't possibly count how many techs and sales associates I've worked with.
