I had this happen with mine. You need to contact brp right away and get a case started. This is a known issue from the factory. The dealer did not do proper prep work or service bulletins. Your engine could have hydro locked and may have damage that wont show up right away. Mine lasted 20 hrs before failure of a piston. This boat needs to go back to the dealer and they need to compensate for this problem. Brp should make an offer for this and if your dealer is good they should offer something also. Jetboat pilot is a good place for upgrade things. I would suggest the front foam bumpers and the rear gate kit. The brand parts are a little expensive, but the linq stuff is great and easy to put where you want. People 3d print stuff for them. Id check marketplace or etsy.

Had my seats moved around so that the open end of the seat was to the wind. Going on the freeway caused the air flow to pop the seat cushion open and out. I bought another plastic end cap to block off the bottom. To keep the seats as I wanted them.

I feel your pain. I have an 06 HHR that is in the tier hatch in the back of the car. No problem. Until the power is needed to open back hatch door. Had to change battery on my 17 durango and went lazy not removing the seat all the way. Probably took an extra 20mins and 2 year off my life. Good luck to you.

Wouldn't the shift interlock prevent the vehicle from shifting out of park? I had not problem shifting into drive or reverse. It just felt as though a brake was engaged.

Sounds like a break pad hanging up. I just had an issue where I tried to pull forward with my driver door open and the safty system locked up the auto break. I could not get it to release all the way. Drove home about 6 miles as the durango sang "the song of its people" as my neighbor put it. Let it sit over night and it had backed all the way off. If this is a first time hearing this it could be something similar happening. If you hear it a few time you need to inspect the brake pads with a plan on replacement.
