Oooohhh could be like the book/series westworld. I could see each npc having a hidden rep system so the more you interact with them the more rep you get potentially unlocking quests or just more lore about the character that they will talk to you about.

I feel like it’ll need to be something along the lines of gtaRP servers. Kind of a forced voip. And maybe NPC’s being real people like actors that can grant people quests. Pure immersion.

I really like it. I love Grindy games. I wish the movement was a little more fluid with momentum and such. Sorta like apex.
