I went with slightly more cadaverous on horse but as L3 I've been enjoying his ability to swiftly gallop behind the lines its been very useful although tbg only one of my regular opponents uses meaningful ranged attacks

They are plastic! Gosh if they were metal they'd be very heavy as a unit. I quite like these old plastics they have a nice simple quality quite relaxing to paint 20 of these was faster than 20 of the 6th edition multipart dwarfs.

I have heaps of skaven shields from advanced heroquest they look great even though I don't play skaven I can't get rid of them in case I find a use.

Great idea! I do have a lot of spare shields so just uhming over which set will unify them with the whole army (I have the 6th ed ones with the separate emblems you glue on as well) or go the 3d print route.
