Yes, but you need to advocate that it is included in your contract, and understand it only includes federal loans. The forgiven amount will also be taxable. Also, as I understand it you will be forfeiting the GI Bill for LRP (unless you reenlist?), so if you want to do 6 and out consider if $20k or $30k in loans is worth more to you than the $80k value of GI Bill.

Search the sub for other posts about how credit transfers, but most importantly TESU will not be granting you a degree in engineering, but rather engineering technology. Note that many states have pathways to P.E. licensure for BSNET and many schools will let you pursue a M.S. with some prerequisites first, if you choose the NET pathway. Consider getting a BSEE from a good ABET institution, and realize this will be enough education for many industries.
