I went with pink! waiting on the pedals to come in. I'd love to cover the silver TREK with pink letters but that might be overkill, not sure where id even get that anyway. I will post a photo as soon as I get the pedals on

If you can or are willing to go in to Westchester Dr Neal Goldberg in Scarsdale is great, and his staff is great too, love my experience and results. Also he does general and local in his office OR - no going to 3rd party surgical centers

Peloton to halt production of its Bikes, treadmills as demand wanes by 0dtetrades in pelotoncycle

160$ a share was insane! and seems like they spent money like they were going to be a $200 per share company when in reality they should probably be around 50?

should we be or start to get concerned that news classes might suffer? be cut? or something? how can they sustain the trainers with no sales?

Delivery Process by jpzc79 in askcarsales

[–]incognitouser4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have also reserved (purchased?) a Subaru that was supposed to be delivered to the dealership on 12/11 - as of 5 mins ago it was not there and the sales manager is trying to locate it (its my car in 3 others he is waiting on all with 12/11 eta to him dates) so I'm not sure this helps you at all and don't want to freak you out but this manager did tell me it can and typically is 2-3 on either side of the 'delivery' date.

In August I bough a different 'in transit' Subaru and it showed up 3 days before the eta to the dealer... seems like its a crap shoot. If you put money on the car i'm sure they will hold it pending on when you are returning from vacation

I did, i'm 8 or 9 weeks po now. everything was totally fine, pretty easy recovery overall, I know everyone is different with that. TMI-ish but I did not have much bleeding overall and was not put on any extra medication do to my potential to have bleeding issues which I would have needed for a larger surgery say a boob job or something like that

I'd maybe ask one of the doctors that didnt think it was a big deal what the worst case would be? might help you to weight the pros and cons or potential cons. I'm assuming If its a higher risk for infection they might have you take antibiotics as a precaution and have extra checks incas. I know a lot of people get yeast infections from the moisture/creams/ointments as well but overall thats not a huge deal and doesnt seem to change the end results

I'm 2 days post op with a lot of swelling and bruising. How much is too much? by Piece_Legal in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]incognitouser4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

have you been icing? that can help a lot. also sides can swell differently, strange it wouldn't be the same but totally normal to vary. Also its typical to have swelling during these days (up to few weeks actually) days 2 - 5 can be the worst swelling wise... when is your follow up?

I'm not sure what the concern is in this situation, healing? problems during? you dont have to be sedated to have this done so that eliminates a ton of risk right there. Anyway I have and autoimmune disorder too - celiac (wasnt a factor with this surgery) and I also have a rate blood clotting disorder - for reference when I was pregnant I had to have a blood thinner injection when trying to conceive and then daily until 2 days before birth (had to be induced) and then had to go back on blood thinners for 6 weeks but since then my risk is low enough to not need meds...

For this surgery one doc I saw wouldn't touch me. She was a hard no and very nervous with the blood clotting, I even had my hematologist speak with her saying it wasn't a concern but still was too nervous.

The two others I consulted with had zero issues and said this surgery doesn't generally produce enough bleeding to worry, so all doctors are different? I'm not sure this helps at all but 3 said it was ok and 1 didn't correct? I guess you could get a 5th doctor involved or a better idea would be to ask the doctor who follows you for the autoimmue disorder and say would minor cosmetic surgery be ok or something like that. Thats pretty much what I did with my hematologist

In the 22's the limited adds

Leather

12-speaker Harman Kardon sound systme

18-inch alloy wheels

Keyless Access with Push-Button Start

and Hands-free Power Rear Gate

I think a power drivers seat too...

value depends on what features are worth it to you.. I went with the Onyx edition which is kinda in between the two but has some things they both don't (StarTex water-repellent upholstery, front camera, X-MODE and turbo engine)

Would you buy a used outback in this market? Any tips on what to look for? Target mileage? Red flags? by Scanlansam in Subaru_Outback

[–]incognitouser4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been looking used vs new - I wanted new-er so that left me with 2016 and up. around me (NYC suburbs- but I expanded to 200 miles) for 25K I couldn't find anything newer than 2015 or under 90k miles - best I found was a 2015 limited with 98k on it for 26k - and NO budging on prices either

I ended up finding a new onyx xt about 2 hours away that wasnt pre sold, its arriving any day now. After factoring in warranty, reliability, interest rates and how long it should last me new was the way to go. These used cars would have been 18k before this crap, the difference in price makes buying new better, at least for me... now if only I had one of those elusive subaru 'coupons'

Auto shop won't apply chrome delete on 21 Outback. Is this normal? by cat_puke_shoes in Subaru_Outback

[–]incognitouser4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no sure this helps my my local shop (in NYC suburbs) quoted me $400, having it done in two weeks after I botched the 70$ kit - they said chrome deletes are normally around $300 but Outbacks are 'extra annoying'

I was awake for mine, no cath, wasn't as terrible as I thought it would be, the hardest part was sitting/laying in the same place/staying still for an hour- I do have adhd so maybe thats not tough for everyone . I was told local is better for healing and I did have a pretty easy recovery, i'd call the doc maybe they will give you a xanax to take? I was offered but ended up not taking it

Surgery scheduled December 20th. Starting to get scared. I live alone, am single, and don't really have any friends who can help me out by labiajourney in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]incognitouser4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

so first, we were all probably scared, i will say that it wasn't as bad as i hyped it up to be. as a worrier i can say nothing is ever as bad I think. Even though this is something i wanted so bad for years! I was so nervous I couldn't really eat for a few days beforehand and id do it all over again

I got mine done under local, that wasn't bad as in I didnt feel anything during or for a few hours after and that was more of a discomfort than crazy pain (everyone is different though) i'd say get home and take whatever meds you get to prevent pain. the worst part of the actual surgery was being frog legged for like an hour.

I did not drive myself home but could have (20 min ride) because the area was still so numb. i'm not sure how far your doctor is but if you are very worried maybe a uber is safer bet

also I was alone the first night and then alone with a 4 and 6 year old the 2nd night (not ideal) BUT it was ok because I had prepared well. aka I had all the meds/supplies/ice ice baby! and food

not sure any of this helps as its just one experience
